After more than a decade of helping couples plan and celebrate their wedding days, we’re so excited to bring something new to the Occasions & Co. family.
Meet Occasions & Co. Catering.
Bringing catering in-house has been a dream of ours for a while because food is such a big part of how a wedding feels.
We’ve always believed your wedding shouldn’t feel like a collection of vendors showing up to do their individual jobs. It should feel like one celebration where every detail works together.
Now, the same team helping you plan your timeline, design your flowers, choose your rentals, and bring the room together can also help create the meal your favorite people will share around the table.
And we couldn’t be more excited about the person leading our kitchen.
Chef Danni Vazquez joins the Occasions & Co. family as our Executive Chef, bringing more than 15 years of catering experience and, even more importantly, a genuine love for feeding people.
Danni believes good food doesn’t need to be overly complicated. It should be fresh, made with care, full of flavor, and something she’d be proud to serve to her own family. That philosophy is at the heart of everything we’re creating together.
Our menus are meant to feel like the weddings we love: personal, welcoming, and completely your own.
Maybe that means bourbon-glazed brisket and smokehouse mac and cheese. Maybe it’s Tuscan chicken, a big Tex-Mex dinner, street tacos, or passed appetizers during cocktail hour. And maybe later in the night, when everyone is hungry again, it’s sliders, quesadillas, or churros making their way onto the dance floor.
There doesn’t have to be one definition of “wedding food.”
We want to know what you love.
What do you order when the whole family gets together? What meal feels like home? What would make your fiancé immediately say, “Yep, we have to have that”? What do you want your guests talking about on the way home?
That’s where we want to start.
We’re also so happy to have Chef Jorge Ventura joining us as a culinary consultant during this expansion, sharing his experience, creativity, and love of food as we continue developing and integrating the Occasions & Co. Catering experience into the celebrations we serve.
As we grow, we’re excited to have an incredible team behind this new chapter and the foundation of a company our clients already know and trust. We’ll continue listening to our couples and clients, learning what they love, and using that feedback to make the catering experience even better. At the heart of it all is something pretty simple: great food, a great team, and people you can trust to take care of your celebration.
For me personally, this is one of those additions to Occasions that just feels right.
I started this company because I love celebrations and the people behind them. Over the years, we’ve been trusted with so many pieces of our couples’ biggest days. We’ve planned them, designed them, flowered them, set the tables, fixed the things nobody knew went wrong, and stood quietly in the back of the room while some pretty incredible memories were being made.
Now we get to feed everyone, too.
And I really love that.
At the end of the day, that’s what this is about for us.
Good food. Full tables. Happy people. And celebrations that feel like you.
Occasions & Co. Catering is now accepting weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, showers, private celebrations, corporate events, and other gatherings throughout DFW and beyond.
